Cringletie House Hotel is a romantically splendid mansion house, set in 28 acres of gardens and woodland, twenty miles south of Edinburgh, and two miles north of Peebles. Its location, just half an hour's drive from Edinburgh, makes it a convenient overnight stop from which to visit the city, and return to peaceful rural surroundings.

Cringletie retains the atmosphere of a private country house. The bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort with en-suite bathrooms. There are magnificent views, an all weather tennis court, putting green and croquet lawn.

Consistently recommended for good food since 1971, the kitchen team provide imaginative dishes. Fresh local produce is used, including fruit and vegetables from the two acre walled kitchen.
